Q. I'm 19 years. I'm going to see my friend this weekend up at her college in the cities (minneapolis, mn) ive never driven in the cities before, and her college is right in the center. i'm terrified of getting hit or something. people in the cities can be crazy drivers. could i have some tips? Asked by greyskies - Thu Feb 18 15:36:56 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Drive the speed of traffic. When getting onto the highway via an entrance ramp you want to be going faster than traffic so you have an opportunity to merge into traffic - THAT'S when you slow down - NOT on the ramp. By driving slowly on the ramp you could cause a serious accident with more confident drivers behind you trying to get on the highway. Also, always use your blinker even if you don't think it's needed - it is!!! And not right before you're about to make your move - put your blinker on a few seconds before hand to give other motorists a chance to react accordingly either by slowing down, speeding up or getting outta your way. Q. For those of you who live in the city limits or in Houston your local phone service is probably around $25.00 to $30.00 a month plus all applicable taxes and so forth. But for those of us who live in an adjoining city such as Cypress which borders Houston as if it were one have to pay $55.00 to $65.00 to have a metroline to the Houston Metropolitan and surrounding areas which to me shouldnt matter anymore. Please explain Asked by Rural Resident - Mon Jul 28 11:39:48 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. I live in Chappaqua NY and we pay about $7.00 more than the neighboring town to take the train into NYC. Its all about your residential location and how much they think they can make off of you.
